SERSing’s Final Consortium Meeting
…and that’s a wrap! After two successful days, our final SERSing consortium meeting finishes.
A jam-packed agenda has seen each project work package present their findings. From the development of SERS substrates to their statistical analysis with AI and the development of a handheld Raman spectrometer for first responders, not a stone was left unturned. Complemented with fun games for the consortium members to jump into, our final consortium was a big success!

SERSing Holds its Second Field Trial!
SERSing held its second field trial at SUJCHBO in April 2024, where the main goal was to present actual outcomes of the SERSing project to end-users who would be interested in using the final product. At the trial, the main aim for end-users was to solve as many real-life scenarios involving chemical hazards as possible, including chemicals that can be released during terrorist attacks or accidents.

New publication: Plasmonic MOF Thin Films with Raman Internal Standard for Fast and Ultrasensitive SERS Detection of Chemical Warfare Agents in Ambient Air
SERSing researchers have developed a sensing platform based on SERS (Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering) to detect, identify, and monitor neurotoxic gases in the air. This article describes the newly developed platform and lays the groundwork for its implementation. Read more
